Hundreds of Indian Lake Elementary School students spent the second nine weeks of school living in the Laker Zone.
Students and staff recently gathered for the Second Quarter Laker Zone Awards.
One student in each class got a Laker Zone T-shirt to show that they have been good students, well-behaved, kind and caring for the last nine weeks.
In addition, students watched the latest Laker Zone video featuring the Zone Buster and Kid Chaos destroying signs and other decorations in the hallway. They talked about respecting hallway property.
Some other special guests also joined the Zone Buster during the program to remind students to be extra careful with Chromebook, headphones and other essential school technology.
The Laker Zone is a long-time grant program that encourages students to help others, resist bullying and be hard workers in the classroom.
Students receiving T-shirts are: kindergartners Gage Downing, Walker Davis, Adilyn Gamble, Kase Christman, Shelton Hartley and Evelyn Shields; first-graders Liam Stockmaster, Ashton Shields, Gabe Crump, Alayna Miracle, Makenzie Nessler and Keaton Vasquez; second-graders Padme Morales, Desmond Rapp, Jase Moon, Kami Schaefer, Zavier Souder, Kenleigh Vaughan; third-graders Drez Cooley, Braelynn McComas, Abby Phillips, Jaxon Butler, Kason Taylor and Rylin Hyde; fourth-graders Kaiden Lacher, Reese Imm, Alyssa Hefner, Stella Wagner, Veronica Overly and Roman Staley; and bus riders Grady Zalinski, Starr Leonhart, Keylin Klofta, Bristol Hamilton-Hoy and Alex Shields.
