Benjamin Logan’s girls golf team had a record-setting performance Tuesday during a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division win over visiting Northwestern at Liberty Hills Golf Course.
The Lady Raiders set a new school record with a winning score of 158-242 on the back nine. The previous school record was 160.
The Raiders’ Sydney Wesson tied the individual school record with two-under par score of 33, which now ties former teammate Mailiis Simovart’s individual record.
Also aiding Ben Logan in the win were Leeah Valentine with a 36, Taylor Lafferty with a 44, Willow Titus and Olivia Hahn with 45s, Kensley Lacher with a 57 and Charlotte Graham with a 60.
Ben Logan travels to Urbana today for another CBC contest.
Riverside wins tri-match
Riverside’s girls golf team won a tri-match with Greenon and Northeastern Tuesday at National Golf Links.
The Pirates and Knights both finished with scores of 220, but Riverside won a tie breaker. The Jets took third with a 275.
Roz Estep carded a 48, Sasha Stotler had a 53, Mia Stallard posted a 56, Malaina Jenkins had a 63 and Maddie Sanford rounded out the group with a 68.
Triad falls to Southeastern
Triad’s girls golf team lost to visiting Southeastern 227-247 on Tuesday during an Ohio Heritage Conference match at Woodland Golf Club.
Alli Gregg paced the Cardinals with a 60, Hannah McManaway and Joni Russell both carded 62s and Megan McManaway added a 63.
Southeastern’s Hope Greene was medalist with a 44.

Indian Lake tops Riverside
Indian Lake’s boys golf team picked up a win over visiting Riverside on Tuesday 184-209 during a local non-league contest at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.
Lane McPherson was medalist with a 40 to pace the Lakers, Camdon Tuttle carded a 45, Dylan Rice recorded a 46, Josh Staley had a 53, Ethan Elbert shot a 54 and Maddux Hall added a 56.
For the Pirates, John Zumberger led with a 48, Zane Rose carded a 51, Brody Rhodes had a 54, Jaden Burchett recorded a 56, Owen Holycross had a 58 and Drew Jones shot a 62.
Triad drops Northeastern
Triad’s boys golf team defeated visiting Northeastern 182-195 for an Ohio Heritage Conference win Tuesday at Woodland Golf Club.
The Cardinals improve their record to 9-3.
Cole Pond fired a 42 to spark Triad, Matt Richards shot a 45, Devin Butz posted a 46, Ryan Gross had a 49 and Jalen Nott had a 49.
Northeastern’s Hunter Buck was medalist with a 41.
