Benjamin Logan’s volleyball team ran into a buzz saw against Hamilton Badin in a Division II district final Saturday at Kettering Fairmont.
Badin, ranked second in the final Division II state coaches poll, defeated the Raiders 25- 10, 25-14, 25-11.
Mia Stahler led the Raiders with 15 digs, Makayla Williamson tallied 10 kills and Macy Matthews added seven kills.
Despite the loss, it was still a tremendous season for the Raiders this fall. They went 24-3 overall and had a 10-0 record in league play to win the outright Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division title.
Badin is now 25-1 and advances to play Marengo Highland in the regional semifinal round Thursday.
