Kay A. Wroten, 80, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 20, 2021, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Kay was born in Bellefontaine on Jan. 17, 1941, to the late Robert J. and Vesta Meredell (Murphy) Kindell. She married C. David Wroten on Aug. 17, 1963, and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2017. She was also preceded in death by a brother William Kindell.
Kay is survived by a son Greg Wroten of Bellefontaine; brothers: Jerry (Barb) Kindell of Phoenix, Ariz., and David Kindell of Kennett, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Craig and Wendy Rutan and family, and Cathy Burmaster.
Kay was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Due to current pandemic orders, please be symptom free, practice social distancing, and consider wearing a mask. Kay will be interred at Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center, at a later date.
