Funeral services for Julia A. Foreman, 89, of Mt. Victory, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor Mike Mollett officiating. Burial will follow at Byhalia Cemetery.
Friends and Family may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the funeral home. Masks will be required and Covid-19 guidelines should be followed.
Julia died on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at Hardin Hills in Kenton. She was born at home in Ridgeway on May 21, 1931, to the late William and Mary Elizabeth (Struble) Moore. On June 19, 1949 she married Richard “Dick” Foreman and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters; Karen (Kevin) Steggeman of Bellefontaine, Karla Foreman of Kenton, brother; James (Marylin) Moore of Mt. Victory, four grandchildren; Jeanette Campbell of Mt. Victory, Robin (Steve) Murphy of Florida, Cody (Taylor) Carruthers of Lakeview, Amber (Charlie) Wallace of Kenton, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Kathy Wireman and a sister; Ruth Denman.
Julia was primarily a homemaker, but also worked as an operator for the Mt. Victory Volunteer Fire Department for 28 years.
She enjoyed crafting, baking, sewing and going to craft shows.
