Juanita Rose Strizzi, 54, of Quincy passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at the Hospice of Miami County in Troy, surrounded by her family.
Juanita was born April 18, 1966 in Bellefontaine. She is the daughter of William and Rosemary (Brown) Bayless. In May of 1995 in Bellefontaine, she married Philip Strizzi, who survives.
Juanita was a homemaker and amateur family genealogist. She had spent countless hours poring over family histories and tracing back many generations of her family tree. Juanita enjoyed planting flowers, painting garden stones and reading; where she compiled extensive libraries. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, but above all she loved spending time with her husband Philip and their dog Maks. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sorely missed by those who loved her.
Juanita is survived by her devoted husband, Philip; parents, William and Rosemary Bayless; children, Jeremy Stover, James (Melissa) Saunders, Tammie (Billy) Davis and William Strizzi; grandchildren; Julia, James Jr., Aubree, Frank, Isabella, Siera and Abigale; a great granddaughter, Ava; brother, Guy Stover; sisters, Tracy (Les) Fulkerson and Suzie (Stover) Ron Dearwester; a special sister and brother-in-law, Jason and Philis Spencer; several nieces and nephews who she was very close to and her beloved dog, Maks.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Clara B. Brown.
In honoring Juanita’s wishes, the family will not be having any formal services, but plan to have a celebration of life ceremony in the upcoming weeks. The family is in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory.
