Joyce Elaine Hoffman, 60, of Fort Loramie – Swanders Road, Minster, passed away of natural causes at her residence Friday morning, April 2, 2021.
She had been seriously ill for 11 years. She was born December 16, 1960, in Bellefontaine, to the late Neil and Ida Belle (Stevens) Hoffman.
On October 16, 2010, at Lake Loramie Camp Grounds, Joyce married James Selanders who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Brent Collum and fiancee Laura Lindsay of Pleasant Hill, Josh Collum of Minster and Mike and Holly Smith of Troy; two step sons, Scott and Diane Selanders of Sidney and Jeremy and Connie Selanders of Houston; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four siblings: Larry and Alice Hoffman of Lewistown, Judy Hoffman of Los Alamos, N.M., Fred and Karen Hoffman of Lewistown and Jim and Becky Hoffman of Rushsylvania, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A 1979 graduate of Indian Lake High School, Joyce had been employed several years at the Lake Loramie State Park. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Montra. Joyce was an avid Ohio State fan. She also enjoyed being outside and watching for hummingbirds.
A private gathering of remembrance will take place at the discretion of the family. Memorials may be made to the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 72, Fort Loramie.
