Joe Charles Lambert, 74, of Richwood, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday Nov. 30, 2019.
He was born Sept. 10, 1945 in Columbus to the late Lulu (Easton) and Clarence Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Alvin Hyronimus , sister in law Kim Deno, and mother and father in law Jeannine and Stan Smith.
Joe retired from Rockwell International of Newark after 30 years as a painter and stockman. Joe was proud to have painted parts on the first space shuttle for NASA while at Rockwell. A lifelong car enthusiast, Joe also was a huge Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Brown fan who enjoyed his retirement.
Surviving is his loving wife Kathleen (McCracken) Lambert. Also surviving are children: Hank, J.D. and Heather Ann, along with 8 grandchildren. Brother in law John Deno, sister in law Terri (Jay) Lazza, and aunt and uncle Tom and Patty Diener and two nieces and a nephew.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday December 4, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood
