Jeffrey R. Cole, 69, of Reynoldsburg and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away at 3:51 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.
He was born in Bellefontaine on Jan. 7, 1951 to the late Russel and Ragna (Erdahl) Cole.
He is survived by three sons: Dustin (Jenni) Mobley of Logan County, Ryan (Emma) Cole of Georgia, Lance Cole of Columbus; four grandchildren: Isabelle, Jacob, Olivia, and Camlyn; three sisters: Connie Dunnington of Lancaster, Paula Keumpel of Rochchester, N.Y., Teri Cole of Kentucky; the mother of his children, Tonya Cole of Rushsylvania, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and John Cole.
Jeff worked for Honda Manufacturing, beginning at the Marysville Motorcycle Plant, then to the Marysville Auto Plant, and finally at the Anna Engine Plant for a total of 33 years of service before his retirement. He enjoyed softball, racquetball, bowling, golfing and swimming in his younger years.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at First United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
