James R Blair Sr., 70, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020.
James loved his family, and his great grandbabies were the apples of his eye. Jimmy retired from the city of Bellefontaine. He was an active member of the VFW, the Moose, and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by wife, Kay Blair; father, Darius L. Blair; mother, Dorothy B (Denny) Blair; sister and brother- in-law, Mary Ann (Blair) Ross and Dick Ross; brother, Darius Blair; sisters, Julia (Blair) Loverde, Sue (Blair) Joy and Barbara (Blair) Gingrey; brothers, Tom Blair, Don Blair, and Bob Blair.
He is survived by his brother, Harvey (Ellen) Blair; brother-in-law, David Loverde; sister-in-law, Mary Blair; brotherin- law, Mick Joy; son, James/Bo (Sheila) Blair Jr.; son, Shawn (Victoria) Blair; daughter, Paula Blair; step-son, Tyrone (Jen) Atchison; grandchildren, Alena (Corey) Roberts, Sierra (Chris Patrick) Blair, Bridget Blair, Mackenzie Blair, Tobias Pope, Haileigh Hoffman, Peyton Blair, Alina (Nick) Kelly, and Taylor Scott; great-grandchildren, Hunter Roberts, Hazel, Roberts Haven Roberts, Hollie Roberts Nash Kelly and Cora Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Please join the family at the VFW Post 1080, 216 Orchard Ave., Bellefontaine, for a celebration of life, beginning at noon, Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley in Seeley funeral home and crematory.
