James “Jimmy” William Moore, born on Nov. 22, 1981, was accepted into the loving arms of our heavenly Father at his favorite place, Indian Lake on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020.
Jimmy is survived by his loving mother Marilyn Meringleo Moore, dear brother David Norman Moore, Aunt Dee Dee (Ben) Dirksen, Sharon (Bruce) McLennon, cousins, Heather, Jessica and Shaun and many lifelong friends whom he loved as family. A devoted son, Jimmy loved doting on his mom – he took her breakfast every morning and loved spending as much time with her as possible. There is nothing he loved more than being Marilyn and Bill’s son, and brother to Dave.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his father William “Bill” Moore whom he adored and could not wait to see again. We are comforted knowing they are now together… cruising on their pontoon boat and listening to ‘Indian Lake is the place you should make in the summertime.’
Owning the Cranberry & Crystal Island was an often talked about dream of Jimmy and his dad’s growing up. He spent the final years of his life living this dream with family and friends, knowing his dad was beaming with pride from above.
Jimmy had a heart of gold and wanted to spend his life sharing his success and wisdom with others to help them achieve their dreams. He started Small Business Owners of America and quickly became an accomplished businessman in many ventures. The numerous awards he was recognized with, both nationally and locally, honor both his entrepreneurial success and the pure goodness of his soul.
Jimmy attended Our Lady of Peace School, Bishop Watterson High School and Ohio University where he formed many treasured friendships that only grew stronger with time. Adored by all who knew him, Jimmy was the centerpiece of so many lives. Making memories was Jimmy’s favorite thing to do, and no one was better at bringing people together to do just that than he was. Jimmy gave so much to so many, but the greatest gift he gave was undying love, so many laughs and endless memories that will keep him forever alive in our hearts.
Indian Lake was Jimmy’s happy place, and where he will rest eternally with his dad, in the loving hands of Jesus.
