Indian Lake’s boys basketball team was firing on all cylinders Friday as it dominated visiting Graham 80-57 for a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division victory.
The Lakers bump their record to 6-7 overall and 3-2 in the CBC Mad River division. The Falcons fall to 7-4, 1-3).
Indian Lake knocked down 11 three-pointers as Graham struggled to contain the Lakers’ outside shooting attack.
Indian Lake’s offense got off to a hot start in the first quarter as the Lakers ran out to a 30-17 lead.
The Lakers controlled the second quarter with a 17-10 run to build a 20-point cushion (47-27) at halftime.
Graham was unable to slow down Indian Lake in the third quarter as the Lakers extended their lead to 28 points at 69-41.
It was a very balanced offensive performance for the Lakers. Zander Barnes led the way with 22 points, Caleb Wurster and Luke Jackson each scored 15 points, Caiden Nicol had 13 points and Chase Coburn added eight points.
In junior varsity action, Graham defeated the Lakers 57-44. Logan Murphy led the Lakers with nine points.
Indian Lake hosts Riverside today for a local non-league game.
