Indian Lake combined a strong pitching performance with some timely hitting to roll to a 10-0 six inning win over visiting North Union in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game Monday.
The Lakers improve to 13-6 overall and 8-5 in the CBC. The Wildcats fall to 6-10, 5-8.
Indian Lake scored twice in each of the first, third and fifth innings for a 6-0 lead.
The Lakers put the game away with four runs in the sixth.
Trenton Fulkerson earned the win on the mound for the Lakers. He scattered five hits, walked one and struck out six.
Offensively for the Lakers, Gavin Lones went 4-4 with two doubles and four RBI to lead the way.
Also for Indian Lake, Fulkerson went 2-3, Chase Baldwin had a double and three RBI and Luke Jackson chipped in a double.
The Lakers are back in action today at Benjamin Logan in a makeup game.
