Indian Lake Schools administrators were notified of a potential social media threat involving a student at the high school at the start of the school day Thursday, Nov. 17.
School Resource Officer Miller, Washington Township Police Department officers and school administrators immediately met with the student and dealt with the situation.
“There is no substantiated threat at this time. There was no need for a lockdown at any point,” district officials said Thursday morning.
“We appreciate the parties who quickly reported this incident, especially given the rash of social media threats and false alarm incidents at area schools in recent days.”
