MVNU competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is a member of the Crossroads League.
Davis had numerous college options and he also considered playing college football as a kicker, but in the end, decided on the Cougars for what they offered financially, academically and athletically.
At MVNU, Davis will play for head coach Andrew Belleman. The two held a previous relationship as Belleman served as a club coach for Davis for four years.
In 33 career high school games at Indian Lake, Davis scored 55 goals and notched 10 assists. He battled injuries during his sophomore and junior seasons.
Davis holds the school records for goals in a season with 24, most career goals with 55 and most points in a career with 120.
A standout kicker for the Lakers’ football team, he earned first-team all-Southwest District honors and second-team all-Ohio honors as a senior.
