Indian Lake jumped out with six runs in the first inning and did not look back en route an 11-1 five-inning victory over visiting Northwestern in Central Buckeye Conference baseball action Monday.
The Lakers are now 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the CBC, while the Warriors slip to 1-3, 0-2.
After its big first inning, the Lakers added a run in the third and three in the fourth for a 10-0 lead.
Northwestern scored a run in the top of the fifth, but the Lakers got one of their own in the bottom of the fifth to finish off the game.
Trenton Fulkerson allowed just three hits and struck out 10 in getting the win for the Lakers on the mound.
Fulkerson also had a good day at the plate, going 2-3 with a triple and an RBI.
Also for Indian Lake, Logan Evans had a double and an RBI, Gavin Lones had a double, Lane Mefford doubled and had two RBI, Caleb Wurster had two RBI and Chase Baldwin added a double and two RBI.
The Lakers return to action Wednesday at Northwestern.

Raiders stay hot with win over Urbana
Benjamin Logan’s baseball team roughed up visiting Urbana 11-1 in five innings Monday in Central Buckeye Conference baseball action.
The Raiders improve to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the CBC, while Urbana drops to 1-2, 0-2.
Ben Logan took control with a seven-run second innings. The Raiders added three more runs in the third for a 10-0 lead.
Both teams scored a run in the fourth inning to make the score 11-1.
Kaden Arn earned the win on the mound, allowing only three hits and one walk while striking out 10.
Trey Allen was 2-3 with an RBI and Brady Burrey had a triple and three RBI to spark the Ben Logan hitting attack.
Also for the Raiders, Carter Rees and Arn each drove in two runs.
Ben Logan returns to action Wednesday at Urbana.

Triad trips up Tigers
Host Triad collected 10 hits en route to a 6-1 win over West Liberty-Salem in an Ohio Heritage Conference baseball game Monday.
The Cardinals improve to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the league, while the Tigers drop to 1-3, 1-1.
Triad led 5-0 through four innings.
The Tigers scored a run in the top of the fifth, but the Cardinals answered with a run in the bottom of the fifth and held off the Tigers the rest of the way.
Ayden Spriggs was the winning pitcher. He gave up just three hits and struck out eight.
Batai Lease went 2-4 with two RBI, Jared Spors went 2-3 and Adam Mroczkowski went 2-3 with two RBI to lead Triad at the plate.
Nick Burden was 2-3 with a triple and Logan Saylor also had a triple for the Tigers.
Both teams return to action today.
The Tigers host West Jefferson and Triad is home against Fairbanks.
