Indian Lake’s boys basketball team cranked up the offense for an 85-70 win over visiting Waynesfield-Goshen on Saturday in non-league play. The Lakers conclude the regular season at 13-9, while the Tigers fall to 6-15.
W-Goshen got the upper hand to start Saturday’s game and led 13-12 after the opening quarter.
Indian Lake got on track in the second quarter with a 22-17 run to pull ahead 34-30 at halftime.
The Lakers continued to build their lead in the third quarter with a 23-17 run for a 60-47 cushion. They outscored the Tigers in the fourth quarter 28-23.
Austin Parker led Indian Lake’s offense with 21 points, Clay Jacobs tallied 20 points, Chris LaRiva had 13 points and Nate Reichert added 12 points.
Indian Lake begins Division III tournament play Saturday against Greenon at Vandalia-Butler High School.
