The Indian Lake High School FFA Chapter celebrated a successful year during their Annual Banquet this week.
Adviser Gary Herren handed out awards for top fruit sellers and producers.
Star Awards were presented to Nick Crockett, Tim Arvin, Lee King, Lucas McLane, Elizabeth Treen, Jeromy Ridenbaugh, Blake Wright, Ashley Holycross, Magan Johnston and Hannah Gross. The Most Improved Award went to Chase Flowers. The Chapter Star Awards went to Ashley Holycross and Magan Johnston.
State FFA President Matthew Klopfenstein was the featured speaker. He urged members to use the organization to “find and write their story” as he has.
“Are you writing new chapters or the same stuff? FFA can help you write your story,” he said.
Earlier, Mr. Klopfenstein visited the ILHS FFA Chapter to conduct a workshop.
The banquet ended with the members giving a video presentation of their activities throughout the year.
