Indian Lake’s boys basketball team battled back to tie visiting Tecumseh at the end of regulation and went on to take down the Arrows 75-67 in overtime Wednesday during a Central Buckeye Conference crossover game.
The Lakers improve to 5-7 on the season and the Arrows slip to 3-7.
Tecumseh jumped ahead 16-7 after the opening quarter and outscored Indian Lake 21-15 in the second quarter. That gave the Arrows a 37-22 halftime advantage.
The Lakers began to take back the momentum in the third quarter wtih a 19-15 run.
That cut Tecumseh’s lead to 11 at 52-41.
Indian Lake was able to tie the game in the fourth quarter with a 23-12 run. That knotted the score at 64-64.
In overtime, Indian Lake took over with an 11-3 run to win the game.
Zander Barnes fueled the Lakers with 20 points, Camdon Tuttle tallied 19 points, Luke Jackson had 14 points and Chase Coburn added 10 points.
In junior varsity action, Tecumseh won 79-36. Lane Tucci and Burke Lillard each scored nine points for the Lakers.
Indian Lake hosts Graham on Friday for a CBC Mad River division game.
