Snowplowing, or the lack thereof, was a topic of discussion during Huntsville Village Council’s regular meeting Tuesday.
Clerk Susan Yelton shared an e-mail from a resident, who reported sliding through a stop sign on Fruit Street, wanting to know why the roads had not been plowed when it snowed. Council conferred and agreed that it hadn’t yet snowed enough to plow.
Mayor William Jenkins said he is awaiting a quote from Mac-O-Chee Tree Service to cut down three dead trees in a village park when weather permits.
Fire Chief Tim Jenkins shared a report of all EMS and fire department runs for 2015.
The Central Collection Agency will be at the municipal building from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, to help residents with their village income tax forms.
The next meeting is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8.
