The bats were firing on all cylinders for Benjamin Logan’s baseball team Monday in its season opener as the Raiders piled up 21 hits and handled visiting Ridgemont 21-5 in five innings.

The game was moved from Ridgemont to Ben Logan because of poor field conditions and was played as a home game for the Gophers.
Ben Logan raced out to a 12-5 lead after three innings of play. The Raiders added one run in the fourth inning and then poured on eight more runs in the fifth inning to cement their victory.
Cole Waugh powered the Raider offense, going 4-5 with a triple and five RBI, while Konner Caudill went 2-4 with a double and five RBI.
Garrett Dixon added a double with three RBI, Nick Brown went 3-4, Trey Wilson and Spencer Bycynski each had two RBI and Toby Stettler had one RBI.
