The Hilliker Heat YMCA swim team had four of its members compete in the recent Southwest Ohio YMCA Swim League championships at Miami University in Oxford.
Ryan Braig, Amy Fulmer, Emily Fulmer and Skyler Tavenner represented the Hilliker Team.
Skyler Tavenner, competing in the boys 15-and-over division, finished first in the 50 freestyle, second in the 100 backstroke, second in the 100 butterfly, fourth in the 100 freestyle, sixth in the 200 individual medley and 14th in the 200 freestyle.
Amy Fulmer (13-14 age division) finished first in the 50 freestyle, first in the 100 backstroke, first in the 100 freestyle and third in the 200 backstroke. She also competed in the 200 freestyle and and 200 individual medley.
Competing in the 15-and-over division, Emily Fulmer was eighth in the 50 freestyle. She also swam in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle.
Braig (11-12 age group) competed in the prelims of the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 50 butterfly.
Amy Fulmer, Emily Fulmer and Tavenner have advanced to the SWOYSL national championships, which are April 4-8 in Greensboro, N.C.
