The Area Agency on Aging offers a Healthy U chronic disease management workshop with weekly sessions Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 14 through Oct. 19, in the training room at Green Hills Community, 6557 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty.
Workshops are open to adults of any age who have a chronic health condition and/or their caregivers. There is no charge for participants who are 60 years of age or older because of funding from the Older Americans Act; younger participants pay a $15 fee. Everyone who completes the course receives the companion textbook, Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions.
