After a one-month hiatus because of poor weather, racing returned to Waynesfield Raceway Park on Saturday with a full night of action.
Randy Hannagan provided a big highlight by winning an entertaining NRA Sprint Invaders feature. Hannagan moved into the lead late in the race and held on for the victory. Max Stambaugh finished second and Tim Allison took third. Butch Schroeder, Hannagan and Nick Roberts were heat winners.
In the non-wing sprints feature, Luke Hall outlasted the field for the win. Matt Goodnight was second and Todd Keen finished third. Steve Irwin, Hall and Mike Miller picked up heat wins.
Chase Dunham grabbed the checkered flag in the mini-sprints A Main. Chris Bounds, who led for most of the race, settled for second and Rod Henning was third. Heat wins went to Korbyn Hayslett, Dunham and Brad Struck. Christopher Whipple won the B Main.
