Amy Fulmer added to her stellar career as the most decorated swimmer in Bellefontaine school history Friday during the state meet in Canton.
The Chieftain junior earned two medals after placing second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.59 and third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.20 inside the C.T. Branin Natatorium.
The top eight in each event earned a spot on the podium.
“Amy swam well and moved herself up the podium from last season,” said BHS head coach Sharon Lewis. “She has worked so hard, focused on the details and truly embraced each challenge she faced. I am unbelievably proud of her. As she continues to make school history finishing higher than anyone else in swimming she is already setting goals for next season.”
