So it’s only fitting the formal wear retailer would paint a picture called The Ball for the Logan County Art League’s “Not So Bad Art by Good People” fundraiser.
“My inspiration came from my vocation. I love to get people dressed up for their formal events,” the owner of Unseen Elegance said of her work that features several couples dancing about a ballroom.
She felt comfortable working with acrylic paints but said her artistic training is limited.
“I have absolutely no artistic background,” Ms. Hassan said. “I love to decorate my store and my store windows, but I am not an artist by any means.”
