The West Liberty Lions Club hosts breakfast and a fish fry on Fireworks Day, Saturday, June 25, at Lions Park.
The breakfast is from 7 to 11 a.m. and is served in the concession stand by donation.
The fish fry takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. in the main shelter house. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children.
In the downtown area, activities take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
East Columbus Street will be closed for a car show (expecting 25-30 cars and motorcycles). Best of Show 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be award; dash plaques will be given to all cars, motorcycles, and quarter midget entries registered before Saturday. Awards will be presented at 5 p.m.
Street vendors including lots of crafters and multiple food trucks will be available and live music will be provided by Nova and J.R. Hunter and Crossfire. The shops will have extended hours as well.
The West Liberty Street Market is sponsored by Malia Hughes Realtor- Fathom Realty and the West Liberty Business Association.
The first 150 people who stop by the tent at Town Hall will receive a West Liberty swag bag with lots of goodies from local businesses.
The West Liberty Splash Pad kids T-shirts and the West Liberty Mural T-shirts will be for sale as well on the lawn of the Town Hall.
The Splash Pad will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
There is a 21-team fast pitch softball tournament at Lions Park.
Fireworks begin at dusk.
