Logan County Family Court participated in the annual Court Investigator’s Conference for Continuing Education Sept. 19 at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio.
Judge Kellogg-Martin serves as the representative judge for the Ohio Association of Probate Judges, executive committee.
The committee is responsible for developing the curriculum to assist court investigators in determining whether or not a person is in need of a guardian. Judge Kellogg-Martin attended the conference with the Court’s contracted investigators Kip Ward and Lauren Ater. There were more than 100 attendees.
“If you believe that a person may need the support and services of a guardian, you may make application with Family Court and the court investigator will prepare the required report to assist with this very important decision,” representatives said.
