Fairborne Esther “Faye” Buroker, 83 of West Liberty, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016.
Born in Waverly, N.Y., on Jan. 15, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Mary Park. She also was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Judith Ann; her first husband, Jack Kendrick; her brother, Glen Park; and her devoted friend, Sydney Jonas.
Her life was centered around her Lord Jesus first and her family second. She always had time for those in need, along with all the animals needing loving care that her children dragged home. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith.
Left to cherish her life and memory are her husband of nine years, Adam Buroker; her son, John (Sandy) Kendrick; five daughters, Mary York, Becky January, Lauren (Dave) Hasanei, Jackie (Joey) Peraza and Kristen (Tim) Siegenthaler; 13 grandchildren, Bonnie, Carrie, Amy, Joy, Brendan, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Ashton, Emily, Sam, Jacob, Abbey and Caleb; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Thelma Sluyter, Marjorie Clark, Marion Cornman and Phyllis (Neil) Douglass; and sisters-in-law, Virginia Parson and Marilyn (Dick) Smith.
