Indian Lake’s boys basketball team exploded for a big second quarter en route to a 73-57 win over host Kenton on Saturday in a non-league boys basketball game.
The Lakers are now 7-6 on the season.
Leading 14-8 at the end of the first quarter, the Lakers outscored Kenton 26-9 in the second stanza to open up a 23-point cushion (40-17) at halftime.
Indian Lake stayed in control over the final two quarters to wrap up its win.
Parker Grothaus led the Lakers with 16 points, Beau Hefner tallied 11 points, Collin Coburn had 10 points and Alex Jacobs added nine points.
Indian Lake travels to Tippecanoe on Tuesday for a CBC crossover game.
