Elsie M. Miller, 83, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at Marysville Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 5, 1934, in Stockton, Kan., to the late Nils and Nelma Mae Springer Rignell.
On Oct. 11, 1953, she married Charles Otto Miller Jr. who preceded her in death March 14, 2010.
Elsie was a devoted Christian woman who instilled these values throughout her family. When not spending time with family, she enjoyed gardening and creating a variety of quilts. She loved to play self-taught instruments, the organ and accordion. Elsie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Debi (Glen) Michalski and Stacy (Johnny) Farrar; sons, Mike (Melanie) Miller, Charlie (Robin) Miller, James (Connie) Miller, Donald (Linda Lankford) Miller and Scott (Diane) Miller; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene (Marvin) Alexander; a brother, Bobby (Cindy) Rignell; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Sharon Miller; and a grandson, Jesse James Farrar II.
Services are at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Bellefontaine Family First Assembly of God Church, 2833 S. U.S. Route 68, Bellefontaine, following visitation that begins at 1 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Bellefontaine Family First Assembly of God Church.
