Mariana J. Shank, 17, of West Liberty, was transported by Macochee squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries sustained in a crash Saturday morning.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a westbound sport utility vehicle when she lost control on the ice-covered road and drove off the right side of the road, and struck a tree. Her SUV then struck an unoccupied parked car at 4361 County Road 29, West Liberty, owned by Christina Barnes, and then the SUV caught on fire.
Mariana was wearing her seat belt, and she was cited for failure to control.
• Marguerita Norviel, 63, of Bellefontaine, was cited for failure to yield the right of way following a non-injury crash at state routes 117 and 366 Sunday evening.
Deputies report she was operating an eastbound car on S.R. 366 about 6:30 p.m. and had stopped at the stop sign. She then attempted to turn onto S.R. 117 and struck a northbound car operated by Jenny Foust, 43, of Bellefontaine, that had slowed to make a turn at the intersection.
Ms. Foust was cited for a seat belt violation. Ms. Norviel was wearing her seat belt, deputies report.
Man jailed for aggravated menacing, OVI

Bradi N. Hennison, 28, of 7640 County Road 10, Zanesfield, was charged with aggravated menacing, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs following an incident early Saturday morning.
Deputies responded about 2:40 a.m. to his girlfriend Robin Ervin’s residence, 220 Highland St., West Mansfield. Ms. Ervin reported that her boyfriend had been making threats that day, and that he had left the residence while intoxicated in a vehicle that belonged to her roommate, Robert Bradley, 38.
Before the defendant left the home, he reportedly punched at a wall in the living room.
Ms. Ervin said after he left, he called her repeatedly and allegedly made threats to burn down the residence and drive through the house with the vehicle. He also reportedly told her that he had a shotgun in the vehicle.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle near her residence, and observed that Mr. Hennison displayed signs of intoxication. They did not find any weapons in the vehicle.
He also was cited for no operator’s license and was served a Champaign County warrant for receiving stolen property. He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
