Donna Y. Music, 65, of Marysville, was cited for failure to yield the right of way following a non-injury crash about 3:20 p.m. Thursday at county roads 32 and 13.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a southbound car on C.R. 32 when she attempted to make a right turn onto C.R. 13. She then struck a flatbed trailer that was being hauled by an eastbound pickup operated by George Pequignot, 75, of DeGraff, that was attempting to make a left-hand turn at the intersection.
Damage was light to the car and the trailer. Mr. Pequignot also was cited for an expired registration for the trailer. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
Woman issued summons for dog at large
Phyllis Swingley, 77, of 4716 S. Township Road 32, Bellefontaine, was issued a summons for a dog at large related to an incident Monday.
A driver had reported to deputies that Ms. Swingley’s dog had been in the roadway nearby her residence. Her St. Bernard reportedly had been struck by a vehicle and then the dog went back home.
Deputies noted that Ms. Swingley also received a dog at large citation in October.
ATV reported stolen
Justin D. Hatfield, 3612 County Road 18, Bellefontaine, reported Thursday afternoon that he had arrived home to find his barn door open, and discovered that his red Yamaha all-terrain vehicle was missing.
• Monte Heppard reported Thursday that his farm equipment that had been parked on his field in the area of County Road 60 and Township Road 79 had been vandalized. Rocks had been thrown through the windows of his farm equipment, deputies report.
