Donald L. Ebright, 86, of Lakeview, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at his home.
Donald was born on June 22, 1935, in Marysville, a son of the late Guy and Florence Ebright. He was preceded in death by seven siblings and a son-in-law, David Losey.
Donald is survived by three children, Nancy Losey, Louie Ebright, and Randy (Angie) Ebright, seven grandchildren, Donald (Wendy) Ebright, Brandi (Jamie) Tilton, Dakota (Jerry Ellis, Jr.) Ebright, Adair Ebright, Karla (Robert) Scott, Valerie (Bryce) Hensley, and Ben (Ashley Ryan) Losey, and several great-grandchildren.
Donald retired from Ford Engine Plant in Lima after 32 years as a tool and die maker. He was an excellent motorcycle mechanic. He was also a former EMT and volunteer firefighter for Lakeview Fire Department. Donald was a member of American Motorcycle Association, racing dirt track and organized the Indian Lake Ice Races for many years. He has his own plaque at Daytona Raceway. Donald also refurbished antique tractors and spent 21 winters at Florida FlyWheeler in Fort Meade, FL.
Donald was a loving dad, and grandpa and had many close friends over the years. He will be truly missed by those that knew him.
