Jason K. Horne, 40, of 3171 S. Township Road 32, Bellefontaine, was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident Saturday evening at his residence.
Deputies responded to the home about 11:15 p.m. after his girlfriend reported she and Horne had been involved in a verbal argument that turned physical.
When deputies arrived, they learned that Horne was en route to the sheriff’s office, and they spoke with his girlfriend. She said Horne had pushed her in the kitchen area and shoved her into kitchen cabinets, breaking a section of the trim off. She said she fell to the floor and that he grabbed her by her clothing and drug her across the floor.
Deputies observed that her knees had bruises and peeled skin.
Deputies spoke with Horne at the sheriff’s office. He said during the argument, his girlfriend came at him and he put up his arms to defend himself. He was placed under arrest and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Woman lodged for disorderly conduct
Stephanie A. Webb, 25, of 9875 Blackhawk Drive, Huntsville, was charged with disorderly conduct related to an incident at her home Sunday.
Deputies responded about 5:50 p.m. to the residence on a report that the defendant was yelling at individuals at the home. When deputies arrived, they noted that she continued yelling and pacing back and forth and would not comply with deputies’ orders to calm down. Deputies observed an odor of alcohol on her person.
She was lodged in the jail.
