Benjamin Logan’s volleyball team made quick work of visiting Northwestern on Tuesday as junior Lynzee Cronkleton recorded her 1,000th career assist.
The Raiders rolled past the Warriors in three sets 25-18, 25-10, 25-11 to improve to 12-7 overall and 6-3 in the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division. The Warriors fall to 4-15, 0-9.
Cronkleton recorded 14 assists to join the 1,000 assists club. She also had four kills and six digs. Molly Vance tallied six kills, four aces and was 20-21 serving, Kylie Frazier had six kills, seven assists and two blocks, Makenna LeVan had three kills and three blocks, Elliott Bailey had 10 digs, Jillian Plikerd recorded nine points, five aces and seven digs and Lily Makin had five kills, three aces, six digs, one block and was 10-11 serving.
Ben Logan’s junior varsity Black team dropped Northwestern 25-13, 25-5 and move to 19-0 on the season.
Georgia Bates paced the Raiders with seven points and 14 digs, Brooks Myers had three points, one ace and six digs, Brielle Moorhouse had six points, two aces, two kills and nine assists, Lauren Dixon had seven kills, three assists and was 11-11 hitting and Lily Blackburn added three kills.
Ben Logan’s junior varsity Gold team beat Mechanicsburg 25-11, 25-13. Madelyn Harmon led BL with nine points, four aces, two kills, six assists and a block, Kaitlyn McMurrough had seven points, two aces and was 11-12 serving, Alex Algire had four kills, Bailee Stover had three aces and Maven Rhoades and Lexi Sutherly each had three kills.
