Clyde A. “Tubb” Ball, 65, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday evening, February 16, 2020, at Belle Springs Nursing & Rehab.
Tubb was born in Bellefontaine on May 9, 1954, to the late Marion Michael and Francis Marie (Garman) Ball. He was also preceded in death by brothers David Ball, Sidney Ball, and John Ball.
A graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Tubb worked as a “plow boy” for 33 years at the Logan County Engineer’s Office. He enjoyed fishing and boating. Shania Twain’s music was special to Tubb, and it was her music that he was listening to when he took his last breath.
Tubb is survived by his siblings: Mike (Wanda) Ball of Bellefontaine, Fred Ball of Rushsylvania, Darin (Roberta) Ball of Bellefontaine, Virginia “Lucy” Herne of Florida, Geneva “Sissy” Ball of Bellefontaine, and Sharon Kay Ball of Bellefontaine; two sisters-in-law Crissy Ball of Bellefontaine, and Sherry Ball of Piqua; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
It was Tubb’s wishes to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
