On Monday, May 9, a beautiful angel on earth became a heavenly angel. Cindy Moon Wirick, 63, passed away peacefully after battling COPD and cancer for years.
Cindy was truly a one-of-a-kind gal. Even through her battles with illness, she reached out to make sure her friends and family were okay. They were more important to her than anything. Cindy touched the lives of so many, many people with her kindness, her warmth and her silly, silly ways. To know her was truly to love her. She inspired others to be happy. To take each day was a blessing. And to trust the Lord whom she loved so much. Her beautiful spirit will live on through all those who were blessed to know her.
Cindy was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Moon and her father, Harold Moon.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Moon, and siblings, Terry (Jim) Judd, Richard (Deb) Moon, Jane (Rod) Shaner, Tina (Kenny) Foulk, and Lori (Hoss) Andrews, her beautiful daughter, Tiffany Moon Sanford, whom she cherished, and two grandsons whom she adored, Trenton Pickering and Blake Loomis. Cindy had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles including her beloved cousin, Chelia Weber, who walked beside her as she fought the battles of illness. Cindy also had many, many beloved friends including Robin Barton, who was her lifelong best friend.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Sunday, May 22, at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center, 934 S. Main, Bellefontaine, Ohio from noon to 4 p.m.
