Three children, ages 3, 6 and 8, sustained possible injuries after a two-car crash around 3:55 p.m. Tuesday on Sandusky Avenue at Lakewood Drive. Lexi Skaggs, Mason McMillen and Kailyn M. Newman, all of 308 Plumvalley St., were treated at the scene, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report. All were using age-appropriate safety restraint systems. They were passengers in a northbound car operated by Cynthia M. Harrod, 26, of the same address. She drove from Lakewood into path of an eastbound car operated by Anthony Hendrickson, 26, of Bellefontaine. Ms. Harrod was cited for a stop sign violation. Damage was heavy. (EXAMINER PHOTO | T.J.
