Bellefontaine’s boys and girls track and field team handled host Urbana to sweep a duel meet in impressive fashion Wednesday.
The Chieftains dominated the boys meet 114-22 and won 16 out of 17 events. The Chieftains took the girls meet 93-42 and won 14 out of 17 events.
Double winners for the boys were Tweh Coleman in the 100 (11.5) and the 200 (23.2), Justin Clayton in the 1,600 (4:47) and the 3,200 (10:31) and Dezmin Lyburtus in the 110 hurdles (16.4) and the long jump (20-2).
Other first-place finishes came from Brad Hughes in the 400 (55.07), Jarrett Beck in the 800 (2:22.8), Lance Houchin in the 300 hurdles (43.7), Kaden Davis-Hughes in the high jump (5-6), Isaiah Taylor in the pole vault (11-0) and Ramon Garcia in the discus (121-7).
