Bellefontaine’s boys tennis team earned a 3-2 victory over visiting Kenton Ridge on Monday.
The Chiefs improve to 11-3 overall and 6-2 in the CBC.
Bellefontaine swept the doubles matches.
The Chiefs’ Abe Burhanna and Dakota Shell won 6-2, 6-4 over Michael Ray and Victoria Oberg at first doubles, while Drew Phillips and Trey Taylor beat Clay Montgomery and Aiden Polach 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles.
Bellefontaine also won at third singles, where Truman Howell defeated Landon Bowling 6-1, 6-0.
The Cougars Kallen Kronour edged Harsh Bakshi 7-6, 3-6, 7-5 at first singles and the Chiefs’ Noah Burhanna was defeated by Nick Campbell 6-4, 2-6, 6-0 at second singles,
Bellefontaine’s Will Patterson won 8-2 over Peter Beller and the Chiefs’ Garrett Brede won 8-3 over Nick Curtis in junior varsity action.
Bellefontaine travels to London today.
