The Chieftains grabbed a 1-0 advantage just before halftime when freshman Caitlyn Shumaker scored her first prep goal.
In the second half, Zoe Price found the net to give BHS a 2-0 lead. Shumaker added another goal to boost her team to a 3-0 advantage.
“I thought the two teams were evenly matched,” said BHS head coach Matt Price. “We were able to put a lot of pressure on their defense with our team speed and Anne West had a couple of really nice saves in goal for us. I think the biggest difference came down to us being the better conditioned team.”
