Bellefontaine’s girls and boys bowling teams grabbed another Central Buckeye Conference victory Friday after defeating host Springfield Shawnee.
The Lady Chieftains rolled past the Braves 2,554-1,915. Kayla Watkins led BHS with a 246 game and a 394 series, Brynn Noffsinger had games of 203 and 183 for a 386 series, Lindsey Heminger recorded games of 189 and 175 for a 364 series and Abby Bailey added games of 174 and 178 for a 352 series.
Bellefontaine’s boys dropped Shawnee 2,808-2,552. Beau Salyer powered the Chiefs with games of 239 and 214 for a 453 series, Nathaniel Schmid rolled games of 238 and 200 for a 438 series, Ian Salyer had games of 213 and 194 for a 407 series and Isaiah Henry posted games of 192 and 181 for a 373 series.
Bellefontaine’s boys compete today in tournament action in Dayton at Poelking Lanes.
