Bellefontaine’s varsity bowling teams each earned a win over Tippecanoe on Tuesday at T-P Lanes.
The BHS boys pulled out a 2,582-2,515 victory. The Chiefs dominated the last baker match 243-155 to grab the win.
Kyle Southard sparked the Chieftain boys with a 184 game and 368 series. Dylan Legge rolled a 177 game and 347 series, Anthony Tolliver posted a 172 game and 343 series, Daniel Weikart had a 222 game and Hayden Salyer had a 192 game.
In the varsity girls match, Bellefontaine prevailed 2,061-1,840. Madison Aldo had games of 183 and 232 for a 425 series to pace the Chiefs. Angel Binfet added a 209 game.
Bellefontaine won the junior varsity boys match 2,061-1,840. Tippecanoe had just three bowlers, so two Chiefs joined the Red Devils. For Bellefontaine, Dallas Gibbs had a 181 game and 348 series, Preston Stripe had a 173 game and 332 series, Jacob Jackson had a 206 game and Dillon Robb added a 189 game.
Urbana trips Raiders
Benjamin Logan’s varsity bowling teams were defeated by Urbana at T-P Lanes on Tuesday.
The Hillclimbers won the girls match 1,938-1,618 and Urbana took the boys match 2,586-2,343.
For the Ben Logan girls, Makayla Cayot had games of 163 and 169 and Karlee Gilliam had a 164 game.
Mitchel Johnson led the Ben Logan boys with a 382 series. Logan Wenger had a 377 series and Tyler Nicholas posted a 374 series.
WL-Salem boys zap Rams
West Liberty-Salem’s varsity boys bowling team cruised past Greeneview 2,489-1,463 in recent action.
Justin Salyers and Reese Shafer each had a 212 game to spark the Tigers. Treven Marchal contributed a 203 game, Brad Burt had a 183 game, Gage Rudasill rolled a 174 game and Mike Price added a 166 game.
WL-Salem girls bounce Irish
West Liberty-Salem’s girls bowling team beat Springfield Catholic Central 1,786-1,533 on Tuesday.
Erica McCall led the Tigers with games of 158 and 146 for a 304 series. Hailee Clifford had games of 164 and 130, Taylor Loverde had a 150 game and Olivia Jacquemart added a 133 game.
