Bellefontaine’s boys and girls track and field teams handled their competition in impressive fashion Wednesday by rolling to wins in a tri-meet against Kenton Ridge and Greenon at AcuSport Stadium.

The Chieftain boys won 15 of 17 events on their way to piling up 114 points. The Cougars came in second with 38 points and the Knights were third with 18 points.
The Chieftain girls won their meet with 89 points and took first in 10 events. The Knights grabbed second with 46 points and the Cougars were third with 32 points.
Bellefontaine’s boys were sparked by Dezmin Lyburtus, who won three individual events and was part of a winning relay team. The sophomore took first in the long jump (20-5), the 110 hurdles (16.4), the 300 hurdles (44.6) and was part of the winning 400 relay along with Kaden Davis-Hughes, Brad Hughes and Tweh Coleman (45.8).
