Bellefontaine’s Samantha McLaughlin closed out a standout career Thursday in the Division I district tournament at Beavercreek Golf Course. McLaughlin tied for 31st out of 72 golfers with an 86. The top three teams and top three individuals not on a qualifying team earned spots in next week’s state tourney. The three individual qualifiers were Ursuline’s Ellie Sonne with a 76, McAuley’s Kylee Heiderman with a 78 and St. Ursula’s Zoe Luebbers with a 79. Centerville’s Morgan Rodgers was the medalist with a 75. The three state qualifying teams were Lakota East (315), Centerville (317) and Mason (317).
