Bellefontaine’s boys basketball team is hoping to get some late-season momentum going. A good start would be beating Springfield Shawnee for the second time this season.
The Chiefs host the Braves for a Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division contest Friday night.
Bellefontaine had to reschedule or move its last two home games because of damage to its gym floor, but repairs are scheduled to be done ahead of Friday’s game against the Braves.
The Chiefs (5-8 overall, 2-4 in the CBC KT) won at Shawnee 45-42 on Dec. 11.
Shawnee (7-6, 3-3) is playing much better of late after struggling at the start of the season. The Braves won only once in their first six games, but have won six out of their last seven outings.
