Triad’s girls basketball team rumbled past visiting Springfield Catholic Central for a 52-19 win Monday in Ohio Heritage Conference action.
The Cardinals are now 5-12 on the season and 2-10 in the OHC, while the Irish fall to 0-16, 0-11.
Triad led 14-4 after the first quarter and the Cardinals held a 33-7 cushion at halftime.
The second half saw Triad outscore Catholic Central 19-12 over the final two quarters.
Jenna Ober sparked the Cardinals with 19 points. Alea Ferguson had 14 points and Kristin Bailey had seven points.
There was no junior varsity game.
Triad hosts West Liberty-Salem on Saturday in another OHC contest.
