Calvary Christian’s boys high school basketball team recorded two wins, including a tournament win, on Saturday.
The Spartans wrapped up the regular season with a 61-43 victory over the Ohio Eagles and then later in the day defeated First Baptist of Elyria 68-54 in a second-round game of the Ohio Christian School Athletic Association state tournament.
Calvary (19-5) is the top seed in the tournament and will now play Ohio Valley in the state final four at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Ohio Christian University in Circleville.
Against the Ohio Eagles, Andrew Reinhard had a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Daniel Wilt added 11 points and Josh Kilgore had nine points.
In the tournament win, Kilgore led the Spartans with 19 points, Tyler Reinhard had 13 points, Blake Wenger scored 11 points and Grant Criner had 10 points.
