Caleb B. Chamberlin, 22, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 27, 2019.
Caleb was born in Bellefontaine on November 8, 1997 to Cory and Shauna (Felder) Chamberlin. He was a 2016 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. Caleb loved to play his guitar and enjoyed listening to music, camping, hiking, animals, and playing D&D with his friends. Caleb always wanted to be a Marine, and he continued to support our Armed Forces. He loved to help people and he would have been a good car salesman and was taking the steps forward to pursue that dream.
Caleb is survived by his mother Shauna (Nathan Haggard) Chamberlin of Bellefontaine; his father Cory (Jayme) Chamberlin of Bellefontaine; siblings: Rachel Chamberlin, Gavynn Beck, Jasmine Pellman, all of Bellefontaine, Benjamin Chamberlin of West Liberty, Blake Haggard, and Natilee Haggard, both of Kenton; maternal grandparents Kim (Dwight) Woodrum of Hillsboro, and Marsha Haggard of Lakeview; paternal grandparents Becky (Gary) Hemmert of Bellefontaine, Jerry (Diana) Chamberlin of Mt. Victory, and Kathy Davie of Bellefontaine; paternal great-grandfather Junior Chamberlin of Mt. Victory; paternal great-grandmother Virginia Engelhaupt of West Liberty, aunts and uncles: Brad (Beatrice Newland) Wiley, Lucas (Jill) Chamberlin, Dave (Amanda) Hemmert, Brad Chamberlin, and Shelly Cobb; and several cousins.
Caleb was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother Ruth D. Felder, Aunt Amanda Wiley, paternal great-grandfather Harold Engelhaupt, and paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Chamberlin.
A remembrance service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at 5:30pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where visitation will be held from 2-5pm. Burial will be at a later date.
